Mrs Shelley Jennings-Sharp
Veterinary Nurse Manager and Business Partner
Shelley is one of our Partners within the practice and brings a nursing point of view to the management team. She has a degree in Animal Science and is a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Shelley trained as a nurse in Kent and brings experiences from working in different surgeries. She has many animals at home including Bella the cat who she hand reared from 10 days old.
Mr Iain Sharp
Practice Manager & Business Partner
Btec ND Animal Management
Iain is our Practice Manager and Partner and brings with him 11 years of retail experience. Iain's role is is a varied one within the practice from looking after our staff, accountancy, administration and taking care of our suppliers. He also runs all our social media too.
Iain is married to Shelley and they both strongly believe in keeping the business a family run operation. Iain shares his office with his two rescue dogs, Toby the beagle cross and Gypsy the staffy cross.
Dr Asela Wimalatissa
Senior Veterinary Surgeon & Practice Pricipal
Asela has joined our practice from Australia and brings with him a wealth of experience in exotic and avian medicine and care. Outside of work, Asela is a member of the Manchester Fire and Rescue Bagpipe Band and has completed in competitions worldwide.
Mrs Deborah Sedgwick
Head Registered Veterinary Nurse
Deborah is our very experienced head nurse. She has been qualified since 1991 and has helped train many of our student nurses. Deborah has an interest in animal behaviour in which she has completed a course and helped many clients.
Mrs Rachel Beadsworth
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Rachel has worked at our practice for over 20 years as both a receptionist and also a veterinary nurse. Rachel has seen many changes in veterinary medicine during her years in practice and the many great improvements in inpatient care.
Miss Chloe Davenport
Animal Nursing Assistant
Chloe joined our surgery this year after deciding at university that her passion lay in the veterinary profession. Chloe will be starting her verterinary nurse training next year and we look forward to helping her grow into the role.
Miss Lois Brown
Lois is one half of our reception team and one of the first people that you see when you come to our surgery. Always one to great our clients with a smile, Lois has a passion for all things animal and has a bearded dragon and 3 cats of her own that keep her very busy!
Mrs Carol Whitworth
Carol is the other half of our reception team and the second smiling face you'll see when you stop by the surgery.
